Currently Teaching:

Research Interests:

My specialty is in nuclear engineering materials and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) characterization of materials at the nanoscale, especially materials irradiated with ion beams or other energetic particles. I have a broad international collaboration with researchers in the fields of material science, nuclear engineering, geology/mineralogy, environmental science and engineering, chemistry and chemical engineering. In recent years, I have focused on radiation effects in materials for nuclear waste management and processing of nanostructured materials with energetic particle beams.
