Research Interests:

My group develops first-principles computational methods and uses high-performance computing to study the structural, electronic, and
optical properties of materials and nanostructures. Our goal is to understand, model, predict, and design the properties of novel
electronic, optoelectronic, photovoltaic, and thermoelectric materials.

Prior Experience:

2008–2011 Post-doctoral researcher, Materials Department, University of California, Santa Barbara

Awards and Service:

2013 NSF CAREER award

2010 Outstanding Research Achievement award, Solid-State Lighting and Energy Center, University of California, Santa Barbara
